Welcome ! My Name is Tom, I am a retired Information Systems Professional, now living in Toms River, in an adult 55+ community, with my wife , JoAnn of almost 42 years.       We have a son, and three grand-daughters who reside in Barnaget, which bring us great joy, and are the center of our lives in retirement. We were also directly affected by the loss of life on September 11, 2001, our daughter, Colleen Ann (Meehan) Barkow perished at the WTC in NYC. Colleen was 26 years old, married in Setpember of 2000, and an employee of Cantor-Fitzgerald.   As a family our lives were forever changed by her loss, which is like no other we have experienced, and which in many ways we remain connected to the event, and the families who lost loved ones in NYC, Washington DC, and a field in PA.Military Service I am USAF Veteran , having served at the SAC Base in Plattsburgh, NY, 1962-1963, and at Wheelus AFB in Tripoli, Libya 1963-1964. Honorable Discharge as a SSGT in 1966. Am currenty  a member of the American Legion.
