Bill Miller has worked as a journalist in Ocean County for 10 years. He spent the first five years working with The Ocean Star providing complete coverage for the towns of Point Pleasant and Mantoloking in politics, hard news, features and school stories. He then had a year-long stint as editor-in-chief of the Community Connection, which provided extensive local coverage for Brick, Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach and the Ocean County Freeholders and College as well as arts coverage for the much of the Jersey Shore including cultural hotbeds Asbury Park, Lakewood, Spring Lake and Red Bank. After a stint in magazine publishing, Bill returned to local journalism freelancing for The Rag—a Monmouth County based entertainment newspaper where he was the paper’s resident theatre critic and filled in covering other entertainment events as needed. This was followed by a traditional political and feature journalism job covering Brick Township for The Brick Bulletin. <br>    Bill has an Associate’s Degree in Journalism from Brookdale Community College, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
