ShopRite Stabbing Victim Turns Himself In To Police On Drug Charges

  The man who was stabbed three times in the Bayville ShopRite in March turned himself in at police headquarters to face drug charges, Detective Sgt. James J. Smith said. Police had been searching for Noah Jackson since last Thursday, when they went to his Tuckerton home to arrest him on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He turned himself in on Tuesday, Smith said. "He was processed and released," he said. "He is pending grand jury indictment." ShopRite Stabbing Victim Facing Drug Charges

Noah Jackson, a cart pusher at Bayville ShopRite, charged with possession, distribution of cocaine, police say

  Township detectives are asking for the public's help in locating Noah Jackson, the ShopRite employee who was stabbed three times in the store in front of customers and employees last month. Police went to Jackson's Tuckerton home today to arrest him on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, but were unable to locate him, Detective Joseph Robertazzi said. Jackson was severely stabbed inside the store on the morning of March 23. Christopher Page, 34, has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident. Amato Jr. and Township Council members praised the actions of the police department and the school district in response to the stabbing Friday at ShopRite and the arrest of the suspect in the case. Amato and council members spoke at the council meeting Tuesday night about the incident where Christopher Page, 34, is accused of stabbing Noah Jackson, 37, during a confrontation inside ShopRite, where Jackson is an employee. Jackson has been discharged from Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, where he was airlifted shortly after the incident, according to a hospital spokesperson. The man accused of stabbing 37-year-old Noah Jackson in front of horrified customers and staff at the Bayville ShopRite on March 23 pleaded not guilty in Ocean County Superior Court this afternoon. Christopher Page, 34, made the plea before Superior Court Judge Ronald E. Hoffman at 1:30 p.m. today, said Eric Muniz, criminal courts division manager. He remains lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on $500,000 bail, with no 10 percent option. Page is charged with stabbing Jackson three times in the front of the store with a 4-inch folding knife. Stabbing Suspect Lodged In Ocean County Jail In Toms River

Christopher Page is being held on attempted murder charges in ShopRite stabbing; bail set at $500,000 with no 10 percent option

The township man accused of stabbing a Bayville ShopRite employee yesterday is now in custody and on his way to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Christopher Page, 34, Galleon Street, was arrested without incident in the area of Main Street and Water Street near the South Toms River border at 10:19 a.m., Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said. "There was no injury to the officers or to him," the chief said. An eyewitness who recognized Page called Berkeley Township police headquarters to report his location. "They saw him getting into a car," DiMichele said. "Police stopped his car on Water Street. He was in the car with his girlfriend."
