The school serves all of the district's fifth- and sixth-grade students. The current enrollment is roughly 550 students. The school has two fully equipped computer and science labs. It also contains a 500-seat auditorium, a full-size gymnasium, full-service cafeteria and a modern media center with Internet access. Every classroom in the school has computers with Internet access. The school also offers physical education, vocal and instrumental music, art, and world languages. There are 24 regular education teachers, 13 special education teachers and four basic skills teachers, along with speech, English as a second language, occupational and physical therapists, and enrichment teachers.
