I've known this girl and her family for over 10 years. They've always been a disaster. ThisRead More "girl" is disgusting, and that's not because of her family its because of HER. That warrant she was hiding, is because 3 years ago she burglarized my car and stole money and belongings and was caught and sent to jail, and when she couldn't come up with the funds to replace what was stolen she was sentenced to a drug probation program which she failed the first pee test. She's scum and this is where she belongs. Karma is a Bitch. Too bad so sad :) and Berkley haha i would've happily been THAT grim reaper.

I would think that if Piero actually depends on his salary and benefits from his public worker jobRead More he would have serious concerns about an overly ambitious, opportunistic and out of control politician who is AGAIN cheaply and unfairly targeting middle class public workers in his state in order to score some national recognition points from Republican extremists. And as corporate, non-executive employees in this country have been increasingly treated unfairly for years with their CEO's pay continue to explode upward as their pay is remains stagnant and their benefits shrink, that shouldn't mean that public workers should also accept that same fate. Non-executive corporate employees have to also learn to unionize and organize to stand up to the continuing mistreatment.

Alex C July 24, 2014 at 03:54 pm
In case anyone is wondering why this checkpoint was announced, it's because legally, it has to be,Read More otherwise it's a violation for the Fourth Amendment. If you would like to know more, you can do some research into Michigan State Police v Sitz (1990). Long and short of it is that random check points really can't be random. They must announced with a time, place, purpose, and duration ahead of time in local media (like Patch), and must be clearly marked by signage ahead of the actual check point. If you don't like it, I suggest you write your representative and suggest he/she propose a repeal or alteration of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

From the CDC website: "What are the symptoms of CO poisoning? The most common symptoms of CORead More poisoning are headache, dizziness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, and confusion. High levels of CO inhalation can cause loss of consciousness and death. Unless suspected, CO poisoning can be difficult to diagnose because the symptoms mimic other illnesses. People who are sleeping or intoxicated can die from CO poisoning before ever experiencing symptoms." That dog was not asleep nor intoxicated. The dog was awake, alert, in a panic, confused, and probably experiencing chest pain, choking, and a burning throat and lungs as well. GFU Phil.
Mattie July 24, 2014 at 04:40 pm
CO2 from household sources like a furnace, or hot water heater, space heater, etc are 'cleaner'Read More sources of CO2. Sucking on the exhaust from a freakin VEHICLE is not the same thing! It's VERY hot, very smokey, causing coughing and choking as well as burning of throat, eyes, and lungs, whereas in household CO2 poisonings one may not experience that. You're an ahole, Phil.

To Murder: noun 1. Law. the killing of another human being under conditions specifically covered inRead More law. In the U.S., special statutory definitions include murder committed with malice aforethought, characterized by deliberation or premeditation or occurring during the commission of another serious crime, as robbery or arson (first-degree murder) and murder by intent but without deliberation or premeditation (second-degree murder) 2. Slang. something extremely difficult or perilous: That final exam was murder! 3. a group or flock of crows. verb (used with object) 4. Law. to kill by an act constituting murder. 5. to kill or slaughter inhumanly or barbarously. 6. to spoil or mar by bad performance, representation, pronunciation... I think #5 covers this

Bottom line to do the damage he did, he had to have been speeding, as that section the speedlimit is 35. I wonder how fast one must be traveling to do the damage he did. I seriously hope this is a wake up call, as he needs one.

John, very very true. Kevin, nobody is bashing the NYer. We have no idea what happened. AlthoughRead More it sounds like he didn't stop and should have. We were just saying that way too often people drive like idiots. Maybe it was the idiot in front of him who wasn't paying attention and jammed on his brakes at the last moment. Who knows. Ironically my wife just called me minutes ago to say a guy cut her off so bad trying to pass she had to swerve onto the shoulder. People drive like it's not important and life doesn't matter. And maybe for them it doesnt. But for other people it does. Last year a relative got hit on his Harley. The SOB driver of the car ran a stop sign since he was too busy talking to the passenger. The Harley t boned him and it lunched his son 20 ft down the road and him over the hood. The bike was totalled but both luckily were ok. But at least the guy got to converse with his passenger ! Friggin idiot !
The assholes are not the ones weaving, the assholes are the ones riding in the left lane. I myselfRead More do not use my blinker. If I do the car I'm passing will speed up taking the space I need to move into. Sloped for debris my ass more like rubber necking and use that as an excuse. They guy who stopped probably a cops relative.

My business partner and I have over 15 years of experience in this field. We have helped a lot ofRead More people stay on their journey of recovery and sobriety. We do much more than just help place people into the best treatment center possible for them. We talk to the families and make sure they understand what is best for them t do and what exactly there child will be going through. We keep the family informed and even after someone has been sober for a long period of time we still check in to make sure they are doing well. This is a huge passion for us. We have not met a person in need of help that we weren't able to help. If someone doesn't have insurance we have connections to get people scholarships and if they are looking to go out of state we usually can get there flight paid for and we provide transportation. What we do is so much more than just getting people placed into treatment and send them on there way. We follow them on there journey the whole way through it. Out goal is to get as many people sober as possible. Do you know someone that is in need of help?
TRedfield July 18, 2014 at 09:46 pm
I do indeed however inasmuch as you are 29 how do u have 15 years of experience at this? EspeciallyRead More while being a firefighter, photographer, Starbucks employee, culinary student, computer IT specialist, etc, etc, etc. ? Nowhere do I see any of the credentials I already mentioned.......so why shouldn't I be deeply suspicious? So you are a rehab broker? Hence the marketing angle? Look, I could do that , Mr, Mecca. I just cant figure out your motivations. Anyone can make phone calls..one just needs perseverance for that. Which I have already. That doesnt qualify me to " categorize them into an ....effective treatment plan".
Charlie July 18, 2014 at 10:00 pm
Sounds like you found my Linkedin profile. I haven't worked at Starbucks in about 7 years or so andRead More I haven't done photography in over a year and that was rarely. Firefighting is volunteer so I do that when I am available. As I have also previously stated I do much more then get people into a treatment facility as I guide the person and the family throughout the entire journey. I have mysef available 24/7 for anyone who needs help.
