This weekend, the Toms River Lions Club is hosting the Cole Brothers Circus at the Robert J Miller Air Park as a fund raiser. Children 12 yrs and under are free with an adult. Shows are Saturday Aug. 10 at 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM, Sunday Aug. 11, shows are 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Discount tickets are being sold at the Ocean County Mall from 10 AM till 9 PM every day till Friday nite Aug 9. All profits benefit the blind and hearing impaired in our area.
Also on Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., head over to the Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library for an afternoon of creative writing. Authors from the Berkeley Writers’ Group will give dramatic readings of their best works for the audience, and will be available for questions after the event. Refreshments will be served.
