MONDAY - Veterans Day services, 11 a.m., V.F.W. Post 9503, 383 Veterans Boulevard, Bayville.

TUESDAY - New Jersey Hope and Healing Listening Station,
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Counselors will be on hand to offer emotional support for Superstorm Sandy victims, along with resources and information and referral services.

TUESDAY - "Doughboys: The American Soldier of the Great War," 7 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Jeffrey Brown will discuss the American GIs of 1917-1918. WEDNESDAY - Berkeley Township Board of Education
, 6:30 p.m., Berkeley Township Elementary School, 10 Emory Avenue, Bayville. The special meeting will include members of the buildings and grounds/cafeteria/transportation and the consolidated/shared services committee. No formal action will be taken.

WEDNESDAY - Berkeley Township Board of Adjustment, 7 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville.

WEDNESDAY - Ocean County Board of Freeholders, 4 p.m., pre-board meeting, Room 304, Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.

THURSDAY - Central Regional drama club presents "Into the Woods,"
6:30 p.m., Central Regional High School auditorium. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens.

THURSDAY - Bill McLeod's Rock and Soul, 7 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Come and listen to rock and soul greats. Please register at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or call 732-269-2144.

SATURDAY - St. Barnabas R.C. Church Italian Night, Father Brennan Hall, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The K of C Council #8603 is hosting the event, which includes  pasta and meatballs, appetizers ,dessert, wine and beer all included. SUNDAY - Live Animal Talks, 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Nature Center, Jakes Branch County Park, Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Come and meet some of the park's inhabitants. The program is free and open to all ages.
