7 p.m. Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville. Caucus begins at 7, followed immediately by regular meeting. Hint: most of the discussion takes place at the caucus meeting.

MONDAY - Berkeley Adult Writers Group, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. New and experienced writers are welcome.

WEDNESDAY - Psychic Fair,
5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Six psychic readers will be on hand to discuss astrology, tarot cards and handwriting analysis. THURSDAY - Central Regional High School drama club presents "Halloween Cabaret,"
6:30 p.m., high school auditorium. Tickets are $5.

- "War of the Worlds" - a re-enactment of Orson Welles' 1938 broadcast that panicked America, 2 p.m., Mancini Hall, Ocean County Library, Toms River. Presented by the WREP Players. Admission is free.

SUNDAY - Superstorm Sandy - One Year Later, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Ocean County College Theater, 1000 College Drive, Toms River. The commemorative event is hosted by the Ocean County Long-Term Recovery Group. Residents, spiritual and emotional providers, responders and officials on various local, county, state and federal levels will share hope and healing for Sandy survivors. Speakers and musical presentations, and community agencies will be available to provide information for residents. A special program is planned for children. Refreshments will also follow.
