Ocean County Fair - Last Day!

Lots of events planned for final day of fair, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It might be the last day of the 2012 Ocean County Fair, but there's still plenty to do on the shortened schedule slated for today.

Some of the highlights include a kid's pudding eating contest and the women's cast iron skillet toss.

Here's the itinerary for the fair, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

•11 a.m. - K-9 Fun Show, 4-H show tent

•11:30 a.m. - 4-H fun show, horse show ring.

•12 p.m. to 5 p.m. - $20 pay one price for all rides.

•12:15 p.m. - Gala egg hunt, TBD

•12:30 p.m. -  Zuzu African Acrobatic troupe,  main stage.

•12:30 p.m. - 4-H goat fun day classes, 4-H show tent.

•1 p.m. - Women's cast iron skillet toss, horse show ring 2.

•1:45 p.m. - Children's pudding eating contest, TBD

•2 p.m. - Zuzu African Acrobatic troupe, main stage.

•2:30 p.m. - 4-H program awards, 4-H show tent.

•3:30 p.m. - Zuzu African Acrobatic troupe, main stage.

•3:30 p.m. - Fun balloon toss, 4-H show tent.

•4 p.m. - 4-H watermelon treat for all fairgoers, 4-H show tent.

• Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, Hot Dog Pig Racing, Dale Jones Juggling Show and Chain Saw Carving demonstrations will run throughout the day.

The fair also features 4-H demonstrations, craft demonstrations, rides, food, funnel cakes and music throughout the day and night.

Admission is $6 for ages 10 and up. Children under 10 are admitted free. Fair visitors can purchase "pay one price" ride tickets for $20.
