Ocean County Fair — Day Two

Perfect weather on tap for tonight

The Ocean County Fair kicks off its second day today with a reduced nightime schedule from 5 to 11 p.m.

On tap for tonight:

  • Bwana Jim's Wildlife Show, Hot Dog Pig Racing and Chainsaw Carving Demonstrations will run throughout the evening.
  • Strolling entertainment with Dale Jones the One-Armed Juggler and the Zuzu Acrobatics troupe.
  • The Toms River K-9 unit will perform in the horse show ring at 6:30 p.m.
  • Puppy Power Seeing Eye Dog show at 7 p.m. in the 4-H tent.
  • Cage decorating in the rabbit tent.

The fair will have full days and nights Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and 11 am. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The fair also features 4-H demonstrations, craft demonstrations, rides, food, funnel cakes and music.

Fair visitors can purchase "pay one price" tickets for $20 on Tuesday and $20 Wednesday. They can also purchase a ride "megapass" for $40, for rides the entire five days of the fair.
