then you better prepare for alot more bigger budget cuts in the future......hopefully they dont stop until they reach up to the top and Cut OShea
George May 28, 2011 at 12:39 AM
Dear Deer Why not shut up while you are ahead you already embarrassed yourself earlier with you foul mouthed posts. If you can not pay your taxes it is your problem. Cut this cut that maybe you should cut somethings out of your budget and then you can afford to pay your bills which all non free loaders do.
Seaside River May 28, 2011 at 12:57 AM
You are so smart. Hopefully, they don't stop - and you'll be paying TWO towns and lots of laywers (as if you're not already)!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha!!! Everyone will be laughing to the bank on SSPs dime! So don't stop!

Keep it up Jose you can count on the biggest movement going down the Pike. You can keep stirring up the people and you will certainly be surprised how things will change and not too dam much to your liking either. Why don't you get a life better yet,go out and enjoy the Beach life at the expensive of the mainlanders picking up what you failed to pay all these years and now are belly aching you finally got caught up with. Surely you can find some sick pleasure attacking the sand crabs. Happy Menorial Day! Sure hope you understand why we show honor to all those who serve and died so you can have this freedom for that big mouth on a roll to no ware. Hope I didn't affend onyone with my opinon, just disgusted with this motor mouth on Patch.

i look forward to the day that seaside park gets out of that dump central regional (the superintendant better start pimping lots more $2 energy switches) AND then when SSP secedes from Berkeley and the 1100 island property homeowners being abused as an ATM in exchange for no services comes to an end ......change is coming for sure, most of you have no idea how quick and how forecful its going to be....its going to be a very hot summer and the gravy train has ended for most of the takers
June May 28, 2011 at 04:53 PM
Gee for sure you at the top of the list mighty mouth
June May 28, 2011 at 05:26 PM
I just heard that the nurse at Central HS was one of the unlucky ones to get that pink slip. She was a wonderful compasionate person to all the kids and to the parents. This got to be the pits now and we got morons making humor with the cuts that are affecting our kids. I don't want to hear about how much we have to pay for school taxs, these kids are worth it and more, we pay thur the nose now for everything dam near now next it will be breathing the fresh air.
Christine Dwight May 28, 2011 at 10:34 PM
the school nurse retired she was not pink slipped
George May 29, 2011 at 12:04 AM
I see it all now. We have been taken for a ride. Mr. Deer has taken us for a ride. Nobody can post and post that type of drabble and be on the level. Cut this, cut that, administration salaries bloated without being specific on what program or department to trim. Increase teacher student ratio without giving figures on how that would affect the current class size. How do the salaries of Central Regional personnel stack up against equal systems throughout the State and County? One would have to study all the factors prior to tossing out remarks about their value.
June May 29, 2011 at 02:45 PM
Gee, sorry, but that's not what is being told and the sourse seems reliable too. Then explain why keep it low profile as to who the pink slips were intended. Sounds really cruel how this is being handled.
Missyfromcentral May 29, 2011 at 08:36 PM
Both are half right. She was RIF'd but decided to retire. Either way she was a great person, a good nurse not ready to leave . . .she will be missed. :( there is now one nurse for 1500 students.AND SHE HAD TENURE!
George May 30, 2011 at 12:02 AM
Since you mentioned she HAD had tenure do you mean the one who retired or the one who is left holding the 1,500 pound bag? One would assume the most senior was going to be kept?
Missyfromcentral May 30, 2011 at 12:15 AM
Both have/had it. And yes, the cuts were by dept. seniority. Sorry about the caps, keyboard froze.
June May 30, 2011 at 11:33 AM
Anyway you look at it, she will be greatly missed. One of kind for sure . We wish her well
Jose Deer May 30, 2011 at 05:08 PM
definately not one of a kind, as there many overpaid school nurses throught out all of NJ....they have been feeding off the gravy train for past 20 years and now that is ending, they will all "retire"
skizma June 01, 2011 at 10:25 AM
Jose, you say these comments just to get a rise out of others. None of you comments are true, nor accurate. What bitter pill do you take every day? unemployment? Or, were you one of those that walked ten miles to school everyday. No one is with you. Fortunately you are only ONE vote anywhere for whatever you vote on. Boy are you an unhappy, bitter guy.....
skizma June 01, 2011 at 10:29 AM
Deer is simply stirring the pot and his comments are meant to do just that.....he really isn't having an opinion....he just blabs comments intended to be annoying. You can see the ridiculousness of it after a few comments. Mr. Deer...get a job and maybe then you won't be so miserable and know it all......
skizma June 01, 2011 at 10:30 AM
You really are quit bitter about something....
