Five Things Happening in Berkeley This Week

Township Council, spooky happenings at H & M Potter School, bingo and more on tap for this week

Tuesday - Berkeley Township Council. Caucus starts at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, followed immediately by the regular council meeting. This is the last council meeting before the Nov. 8 general election.

 

Wednesday - Reptile Kingdom presents "Creepy, Crawly and Slimy Things" at 6:30 p.m. at the Berkeley Branch of the Ocean County Library at 30 Station Road in Bayville. Come see live tarantulas, scorpions and more. Ages 4 and up. Pre-registration is required. Register online at or by calling 732-269-2144.

Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday  - Halloween Halls of Terror, H&M Potter School in Bayville. Activities run from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on both nights.

 

Saturday - "Fall Harvest" - Jakes Branch County Park, Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Drop in at the park's Nature Center any time between 12:30 to 3 p.m. for a 20-minute talk on how the Lenape Indians prepared for winter. No registration is require.
