"We will continue to provide resources to our residents to help them during this very difficult time," Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said.

DMV staff are available to help those who lost cars or boats, Amato said.

“New Jersey residents have suffered tremendous damages to their homes, their automobiles and other property from Hurricane Sandy and now as they begin to rebuild, they have questions related to their insurance,” said Acting Commissioner Ken Kobylowski. “Setting up these mobile offices gives us the opportunity to take information and assistance directly to people in their communities and give them all the help we can.”

Residents should bring their insurance policies and any claim information to the center. There will also be a representative from Gov. Christie's office at each site.

"I want to thank Governor Christie and members of his staff, especially, Chris Stark, Regional Director for Intergovernmental Affairs, by making the Department of Banking and Insurance available to area residents," Amato said.
