MONDAY - Berkeley Township Council, 7 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville. Caucus starts at 7 p.m., followed immediately by regular council meeting. Hint: most of the discussion takes place at the caucus meeting.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - Campout at Jakes Branch County Park, 5:30 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, 500 Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Get away from the T.V., take a short nature walk, stargaze with members of the Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area and round off the night with a campfire and marshmallow roast. Bagels and muffins will be provided on Sunday morning. Bring your own camp gear. The fee is $3 per person. Open to all ages, maximum of 20 participants.
