Seven Things Happening in Berkeley This Week
Town Center, 'Meet the Mayor,' farewell Father Kevin
Monday - The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a free seining program from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for ages 8 to adult. The lesson kicks off at the Seaside Park Elementary School. Participants will walk to a small nearby bay beach to catch and examine inhabitants of Barnegat Bay. Registration is required. Please call Cooper Environmental Center at 732-270-6960. The walk may be muddy, no flip-flops or Crocs.
Wednesday - Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. will be on hand at 7 p.m. at the Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library on 30 Station Road to answer any questions residents may have.

Wednesday and Thursday - Sports physicals, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Central Regional High School gymnasium, Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville.

Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by the Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday - An afternoon of Mah Jongg, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. For more information call 732-269-2144.
Sunday - The 12 p.m. Mass at St. Barnabas R.C. Church in Bayville will be Rev. Kevin J. Keelen's last as pastor. He has been transferred to a church in Jackson, effective July 1. The Mass will be followed by a luncheon in his honor.
