Meetings, zombies and more

 

Monday - Berkeley Township Board of Education special meeting, 6 p.m., Berkeley Township Elementary School, 10 Emory Avenue, Bayville. Purpose of the meeting is to award a bid, then go into closed session to discuss "personnel and negotiations." Formal action may be taken.

Tuesday - Berkeley Township Council, 7 p.m. Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road. The caucus meeting starts at 7, followed immediately by the regular council meeting. Hint: most of the discussion takes place at the caucus meeting.

Wednesday - Games of the Living Dead, Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Battle zombies and fellow teens in video and board games. Bring your own zombie-themed games. Ages 13-18. Pre-register online or call 732-269-2144.

Thursday - Berkeley Township Historical Society - 7:30 p.m., Berkeley Township Recreation Building, 630 Route 9 South, Bayville.

Thursday - Central Regional Board of Education, 7 p.m., board meeting room, Central Regional High School, Forest Hills Parkway in Bayville.

Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by the Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday - An afternoon of Mah Jongg, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. For more information call 732-269-2144.

Sunday - Father Kevin Keelen will hold a special reading and sign copies of his new book "From Darkness To Light," after each Mass at Brennan Hall at St. Barnabas R.C. Church, Woodland Road, Bayville.
