TUESDAY - Famous Women's Scavenger Hunt, anytime, all month, Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Find the pictures of famous women, match their names with their accomplishments and win a small prize. Open to all ages.

WEDNESDAY - Ocean County Board of Freeholders, 4 p.m. regular board meeting, Room 119, Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.

THURSDAY - Central Regional Golden Eagles Dodge Ball Tournament, 6 p.m., gymnasium, Central Regional High School, Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville. Teams can consist of staff, students and alumni. $30 per team of six members. Teams are guaranteed at least three games.

THURSDAY - Berkeley Township Historical Society, 7 p.m. Berkeley Township Recreation Building, Route 9 South, Bayville.

THURSDAY - AARP Free Tax Help, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., second floor study room, Ocean County Library, Washington Street, Toms River. For seniors, 60 and over, and low to moderate income residents. Seniors are given priority. First come, first served.

THURSDAY - Bingo night, sponsored by the Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m

SATURDAY - Jane Austen: Her Life and Times, 2 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Learn about the realities of English society during Austen's life and times. See how the she developed her heroines in her novels and how her personal life was reflected in her writing.

SUNDAY - Live Animal Talks, 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Jakes Branch County Park, Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Come and meet some of the park's inhabitants. The event is free and open to all ages.
