Monday - Winter Scavenger Hunt - all month, Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Come in anytime and win a small prize. No registration required.

Monday - Berkeley Township Council, 7 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road, Bayville. Regular council meeting starts immediately after the caucus meeting at 7. This is the first Monday meeting since the Township Council changed the meeting dates from Tuesday to Monday.

Wednesday - Ocean County Board of Freeholders, 4 p.m., Room 119, County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.

Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by the Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday - Family Fun Fair, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Sponsored by the Friends of the Berkeley Library. Please register online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or call 732-269-2144.

Sunday - Live Animal Talks, 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Jakes Branch County Park, Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Come and meet some of the park's inhabitants up close. Admission is free and open to all ages.
