THURSDAY - Bingo night, sponsored by the Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

SATURDAY- Ocean County Parks and Recreation 38th Annual Fishing Contest, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lake Shenandoah County Park, Route 88, Lakewood. Participants can fish any freshwater lake or river in Ocean County. Register at the park's boat house. The fee is $4 for ages 16 and up, and $2 for children under 16. Anyone 16 or over must have a freshwater fishing license and trout stamp if fishing for trout.
