MONDAY - English Conversation Group, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Open to anyone who wants to learn how to converse in English.

TUESDAY- County Connections Mobile Service Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Get your passports processed, dispose of worn flags, register to vote and more.

THURSDAY- More Than ABCs - Getting Your Child Ready For Kindergarten. Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Experienced child educator Linda Nelson will discuss the process and answer questions. For parents and caretakers of children entering kindergarten in the fall. THURSDAY- Bingo night, sponsored by the Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

FRIDAY - Members of Gov. Christie's "mobile cabinet" will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Berkeley Township Recreation Center at 630 Route 9 South to answer any Superstorm Sandy questions. Area residents are urged to bring paperwork with them if they have any specific questions.

SATURDAY- National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Berkeley Township Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.  Medications can be brought to the Holiday City @ Berkeley Clubhouse #1 at 631 Jamaica Blvd. or the Berkeley Township Police Department on Pinewald-Keswick Road in Bayville., An officer will be stationed in the Clubhouse Library. The service is free. 

SATURDAY - Shakespeare Day Trivia, 11 a.m., Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library, 30 Station Road, Bayville. Test your knowledge of the bard, his wriings and the Elizabethan era in this trivia contest. Ages 12 and up. Please register at www.theoceancountylibrary.org or call 732-269-2144.

SATURDAY - Nature and history walk on the Berkeley section of the Barnegat Rail Trail, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Meet at the nature center parking lot at Jakes Branch County Park, 500 Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Fee is $6 per person. Ages. 9 and up. Registration is required.

SUNDAY - Live Animal Talks, 1 p.m., Nature Center, Jakes Branch County Park, 500 Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Come and meet some of the park's inhabitants. The program is free and open to all ages.
