Benefit for critically injured Bayville man slated for Friday night

 

Tuesday - meeting, 7 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road. The caucus meeting starts at 7 p.m., followed immediately by the regular council meeting.

Tuesday - "Silent Library" - 6 p.m. Berkeley branch of the Ocean County Library at 30 Station Road in Bayville. Teens 13-18 are invited to participate in teams competition to see who can stay quiet while completing quick and silly tasks. Event is based on the popular MTV show. Prizes will be awarded to the most muted team. Register online or call the library at 732-269-2144.

Wednesday - trial set to begin in municipal court at 8:00 a.m. Murphy is facing charges connected with a fatal canoe accident in June on Barnegat Bay that took the life of 18-year-old . State Police charged him with leaving the scene of a fatal boat accident and failing to report a fatal boat accident.

Thursday - - 7 p.m., board meeting office, Central Regional High School, Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville.

Friday - Benefit spaghetti dinner for at Central Regional High School cafeteria from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The 22-year-old Bayville resident was seriously injured in a dirt bike accident on Route 9 last month. Tickets are $15. They can be purchased at Bayville Auto Care or by contacting the Central Regional School District at 732-269-1100 ext. 341. Checks should be made payable to the Kyle Bedell Benefit Fund. Donations also can be made directly to the account at any TD Bank.
