Five Things Happening in Berkeley This Week

Easter egg hunt, Township Council, MusicFest IV

 

Tuesday - Berkeley Township Council special meeting on alternative energy solutions, 6 p.m., Town Hall, 627 Pinewald-Keswick Road. The Township Council caucus meeting kicks off at 7 p.m., followed immediately by the council's regular meeting.

Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by the Holiday City at Berkeley Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday - World Language Festival, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Central Regional Middle School cafeteria. Food, fun and dance on tap. Sponsored by the Central Regional Middle School world language department and the Central Regional Education Association.

Friday - Don't miss MusicFest IV Central Regional High School. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5. Proceeds go to the Central Regional music department and several non profit organizations. The bands featured include Bird Bath, A Tale to Tell, Thomas Wesley, The Alumni, Space and Tim Revisted, Accidental Seabirds and Jude.

Saturday - Township Easter Egg Hunt, 1 p.m. at Veterans Park, Forest Hills Parkway, Bayville. Rain or shine. Bring a bag for collecting eggs. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: ages 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7 and 8 and up.
