Thursday - Bingo night, sponsored by the Bingo Club, Clubhouse #2, Port Royal Drive. Doors open at 5 p.m., bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday - Frogs by Flashlight, 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., Nature Center, Jakes Branch County Park, Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Open to all ages.

Saturday - Ocean County 37th Annual Fishing Contest, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Register at Lake Shenandoah County Park Boat House on Route 88. Fee is $2 for under 16, $4 for ages 16 and up. Prizes are awarded at from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fish any freshwater lake or river in Ocean County. Rain or shine.
