Coastal Flooding Expected Today In Ocean County

Shore area under coastal flood watch

 

A coastal flood watch has been issued for Shore area residents for Monday's high tide.

Ocean and Monmouth counties are included in the watch, which warns of minor coastal flooding at times of high tide, which will come Monday morning in the back bay.

The watch will continue through Monday, when forecasters at the National Weather Service are calling for a chance of drizzle, then periods of rain, mainly after 1 p.m. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 50s.

Rain and drizzle will continue Monday night, but give way to sunny skies on Tuesday, with temperatures returning to the mid 50s.

Route 35 Bridge, Manasquan River: 7:25 a.m.
Beaver Dam Creek, Brick: 10:20 a.m.
Mantoloking Bridge: 11:59 a.m.
Route 37 Bridge: 11:33 a.m.
Forked River: 10:39 a.m.
Double Creek: 10:34 a.m.
LBI Causeway: 10:18 a.m.
