Berkeley Pride Day Photo Gallery

21st annual event featured rides, music, crafts, food, vendors, fireworks and a 9-11 memorial service that included the unveiling of a piece of World Trade Center steel

The 21st annual in Veterans Park Saturday ran from 10 a.m. into the night, capped off with a fireworks display.

The event featured live music, crafts, kiddie rides, food, vendors and displays from non-profit groups. A piece of twisted steel from one of the Twin Towers was unveiled during a 9-11 memorial service during the early evening.

Berkeley Pride Day is funded in part by donations from the numerous non-profit groups that participate, Mayor Jason J. Varano has said.
