Annual Mayor's Golf Tourney Coming Up On June 5

The Berkeley Township Recreation Department is gearing up for its 19th annual Mayor's Golf Outing on June 5.

The event raises funds to support township recreation programs, including the Sounds of Summer concert series. Generous donations from local businesses and golfers have raised thousands of dollars to pay for the programs, Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said on the township website.

The cost per player is $85, which includes greens fees, car and lunch.
The event kicks off with a continental breakfast at 7 a.m. and sign-in at the Cedar Creek Golf Course in Bayville.

The "Shotgun Start" is at 8 a.m. The awards luncheon is slated for after the tournament at the Bayville V.F.W. on Veterans Boulevard. The rain date is June 6.

Checks for the event or donations can be mailed to the Mayor's Open, c/o Berkeley Township Recreation Department, P.O. Box B, Bayville, NJ 08721
