Woman Charged With Drunk Driving In Holiday City


Berkeley police recently charged a Toms River woman with drunk driving after a motor vehicle stop on Westbrook Drive near Pembroke Lane, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Patrolman Michael Tanis stopped Angela Kunie, 24 at 3:45 a.m. on May 3. Further investigation revealed that she was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, the chief said.

Kunie was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing. She was also charged with speeding and reckless driving. Her car was impounded per John's Law, DiMichele said

Patrolmen David Moody and Edward Hendrickson assisted.
