Two Bayville Men Arrested On Heroin Distribution Charges

Arrests made in Pinewald section of Berkeley

by Patricia A. Miller

Police recently arrested a Bayville man and charged him with distributing heroin from his Pinewald home, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Detective Jason Mroczka arrested Robert Stack, 52, Railroad Avenue, at his home on March 18. He was taken into custody without incident, the chief said.

The arrest stemmed from a month-long investigation into heroin distribution the Pinewald section.

Stack was charged with one count of possession of heroin, one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute in a recreation zone (the Barnegat Rail Trail), DiMichele said.

An Ocean County Superior Court judge set Stack's bail at $125,000, with no ten percent option.

Also arrested as a result of the investigation was Kevin Reilly, 38, Bayville.  Reilly was charged with distribution of heroin.  Reilly was released on a summons. The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 assisted, the chief said.
