Toms River Woman Airlifted To Trauma Center After Pinewald-Keswick Road Crash

By Patricia A. Miller

A Toms River woman suffered multiple injuries in a two-car accident at the intersection of Pinewald-Keswick Road and Dover Road late Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Lindsay Sope, 31, was a passenger in a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Ryan Frankosky, 27 Toms River. The car and a GMC truck collided around 5:25 p.m., when Frankosky attempted to make a left from Pinewald-Keswick onto Dover Road, Patrolman John Houghkirk said.

Kristian Endreson, 63, Bayville, the driver of the truck, was traveling eastbound on Pinewald-Keswick Road when the collision occurred. Both Endreson and Frankosky sustained minor injuries, Houghkirk said.

Sope was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. The Ocean County Sheriff's Department, Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company, Manitou Park Fire Company, Bayville First Aid Squad and MONOC paramedics assisted, he said.

The accident is under investigation and charges are pending, Houghkirk said.
