UPDATE: Toddler Hurt in Ocean Gate Domestic Dispute Released from Hospital

Child is staying with relatives at an undisclosed location, Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says

A toddler injured in a domestic dispute at an Ocean Gate Avenue home on Friday has been released from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Deputy Chief Detective Michael Mohel said.

The two-year-old suffered lacerations to its head and back during the incident, which were not life-threatening, Mohel said.

Ocean Gate police and investigators from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office responded to a 911 call from 410 Ocean Gate Avenue, Apt. 3 at 2:40 a.m, he said.

"There will be no further information until possibly Monday," Mohel said. "It's an ongoing investigation."

The child is staying with relatives at an undisclosed location, he said.
