Stabbing Victim Discharged From Jersey Shore University Medical Center

Noah Jackson, 37, was stabbed three times in Bayville ShopRite last Friday

 

The employee who was severely stabbed in front of horrified staff and customers in at the last Friday has been discharged from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said toay.

Noah Jackson, 37, Bayville, was stabbed three times between checkout registers 1 and 3 around 11 a.m. on Friday morning, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele has said.

, 34, was arrested and charged with attempted murder the following morning near the Toms River and South Toms River border. Page was also charged with possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, police have said.

Page pleaded not guilty to the charges before Superior Court Judge Ronald E. Hoffman in Toms River on Monday. He remain lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on $500,000 bail, with no ten percent option.

Page is charged with stabbing Jackson three times in the front of the store with a 4-inch folding knife. Jackson — a store employee — received three severe wounds in the attack and was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

An altercation between the two men began in the store vestibule and continued into the front of the store near the checkout registers 1 and 3, counters, where Jackson was stabbed severely, DiMichele has said.
