UPDATE: Power Estimated To Be Restored By Midnight In Holly Park and Pinewald sections of Bayville

Jersey Central Power & Light is estimating power should be restored by midnight in the Holly Park and Pinewald sections of Bayville, according to the Berkeley Township police department's Facebook page.

"Crews are working hard to restore power as soon as they possibly can, the Page states. "Residents are reminded to contact the Berkeley Township police
if power related emergencies arise and residents are also urged to keep checking this page for power related updates."

"We will update as soon as we get more information," police said. "Please check this site for updates instead of calling our H.Q. (headquarters) as only JCP&L will be able to provide all of us with information on when power will be restored."

The outage is at the Pinewald substation and affects roughly 1,942 customers in Bayville, Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said.
