Police Still Searching For Driver Involved in Hit-And-Run Crash


Berkeley police are looking for information about a Jan. 6 incident where a car crashed into a retention wall at the municipal golf course, causing $1,200 in damage, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

There is no description available of the vehicle. The driver fled the area after the crash, the chief said.

The crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the incident is  asked to call the Traffic Safety Bureau at 732-341-1132, ext. 125.
