Is it any wonder Mayor Amato is a no show? He has a couple of public jobs so being mayor is not his first priority, despite what he tells everyone. That guy is a big mistake, we trusted him, we voted for him and now he's too busy cashing his public payroll checks, plural, and can't do the job he was elected to do.

I wonder how many pensions Amato is gonna rake in when it's time? If you can't be a full-time mayor, then don't run for that position. Did he tell the residents of Berkeley that he was going to be a part-time mayor or even that? I think he left that part out.. And to think, I voted for this man. :( BIG MISTAKE!! But I can look to the future when he runs for re-election and vote him out!!

Blaming the mayor or the police for someone else's misbehavior is not going to solve any problems. Where is responsible parenting these days? What happened to being responsible adults? I'm tired of everyone blaming someone else and not taking responsibility for their own actions. Get to know your neighbors and immediately report any suspicious actions. We need to start acting like a community and not expect law enforcement be doing it all.
