Police Charge Bayville Man With Drunk Driving, Other Violations

Police recently arrested a Bayville man for drunk driving after a motor vehicle stop on Butler Boulevard, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Patrolman Jonathan Mulvihill stopped Robert Marr Jr., 38, on Butler Boulevard at 10:20 p.m. on March 17. He determined Marr was driving under the influence of alcohol, the chief said.

Marr was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with refusal to submit to breath samples and failure to maintain lane, DiMichele said.

His car was held in accordance with John's Law, the chief said.
