Northbound Route 539 Closed At Route 72 Intersection After Serious Accident

Barnegat police are reporting that Route 539 northbound will be closed at the Route 72 intersection due to a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 539 in Lacey Township.

Reports say there is overturned vehicle with "multiple" victims trapped. Multiple ambulances and Medivac helicopters are on standby.
