Motorcyclist Airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center After Accident

63-year-old man injured in single-vehicle accident at Serpentine Drive and Veterans Boulevard

A township man is in stable condition tonight at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, after he was injured in a motorcycle accident this afternoon, Detective Sgt. James J. Smith said.

The man, whose name is being withheld until relatives are notified, was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle at 4:04 p.m. on a curve at Serpentine Drive and Veterans Boulevard when the accident occurred, Smith said.

He was airlifted to Jersey Shore by MONOC paramedics.

"His injuries were non-threatening," Smith said.

The circumstances of the accident are under investigation, he said.
