Two Men Arrested On Drug Charges After Pine Tree Drive Probe

90 morphine tablets seized following investigation

Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and Berkeley Township police recently arrested two Bayville men after a probe into drug activity in the Pine Tree Drive area.

Authorities seized 90 morphine tablets after the July 27 investigation, Detective Jack Sramaty said

William Joralemon, 47, of 48 Pine Tree Drive, Bayville was charged with possession of morphine, possession of morphine under one ounce with intent to distribute and distribution of morphine. Berkeley Township Municipal Court Judge James Gluck set Joralemon’s bail at $15,000, with no ten percent option, Sramaty said.

Also arrested was Paul McNie, 48, 33 Aikens Drive. McNie was charged with possession of less than one half ounce of morphine. He was released on a summons, Sramaty said.

Members of the Berkeley Township Detective Bureau and the Berkeley Township Police patrol division assisted in the investigation.
