Manchester Man Indicted; Allegedly Pushed Pills Near Bayville Elementary School

A 33-year-old Manchester man has been indicted and charged with using forgery to obtain oxycodone in Berkeley, and then try to distribute it near the Bayille Elementary School, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Joel Cotto was also charged with illegally possessing and attempting to distribute oxycodone in Berkeley. He was also charged with trying to distribute the oxycodone within 1,000 feet of the Bayvville  Elementary School, as well as carrying cocaine, on July 2, 2011.

Cotto was indicted on March 12. No additional information was available.
