Local Residents Indicted on Drug, Burglary, Weapons Charges

Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

 

A Beachwood man faces drug and weapons charges after being indicted last week by an Ocean County grand jury.

Richard S. Brown, 34, was arrested Sept. 17 in Berkeley and accused of possessing cocaine, a dagger-style knife and a switchblade, authorities said.

He was released on a summons.

  • Christopher Boardingham, 20, of Forked River on burglary, theft and dealing in stolen property charges.

Boardingham broke into a home on his street between May 23 and 26, stole jewelry and cash in excess of $500 and then sold it within Berkeley Township, police said.

He posted $10,000 bail Feb. 4.

  • Michael T. Bartley, 21, of Bayville, Jennifer Braccini, 25, of Ocean, and Heather Ercolano, 40, of Toms River on drug possession charges.

The trio were arrested Oct. 6 in Jackson and accused of possessing heroin.

Bartley also was charged with theft for allegedly stealing a 2010 Chevrolet from Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Bayville, the indictment states.

Bartley is free on $10,000 bail, Ercolano was released on a summons, and Braccini was released on her recognizance.
