Lacey Police Charge Bayville Woman With Drunk Driving


Lacey Township police recently arrested a Bayville woman for drunk driving and numerous other charges after she went through a stop sign, then failed to maintain the lane.

Kimberly Williams, Korman Road was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer test, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, Lacey police said.

Lacey Special Officer Michael Hutman stopped Williams at 10:25 p.m. on Sept. 20 on Route 9 North near South Street, after she failed to stop at the stop sign on Railroad Avenue. She then turned right onto South Street heading to Route 9, were she failed to maintain the lane, police said.

Officer Kymberly Dudgeon handled the investigation.
