No One Injured in Early Morning Fire in Holiday City

Fire confined to garage and attic of Barbuda Drive home

No one was injured in a fire that broke out in a house at 77 Barbuda Drive home in Holiday City early this morning, Manitou Park Fire Chief Will Jubert said.

"Everyone was out of the house when rescue companies arrived," he said.

The blaze broke out in the garage of the one-story ranch around 12:24 a.m. and was confined to the garage and the attic, Jubert said.

"It wasn't fully engulfed, it was a working fire in the garage," he said.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to knock the blaze down, Jubert said.

The Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company, the Toms River Fire Department 2 and the Bayville Fire Company also responded, he said.
