The 52-year-old girlfriend of an elderly Holiday City man has been charged with running a drug operation out of his home, police said.

The man's daughter, who lives in Toms River, called police at March 8 after she found her 86-year-father lying naked and unresponsive on the bathroom floor of his home at 24 Pine Valley Drive.

Joy Lehnert, who had a "dating" relationship with the man for nine years - was not at home when the daughter arrived and found her father, who had recently been diagnosed with cancer, having difficulty breathing, according to the police report.

When Lehnert returned, she first told police she had left the home to pick up a prescription for Alprazolam at Walmart with Rosanne Diglio. When the two arrived back at the Pine Valley Drive home, a Berkeley police officer recognized Diglio, who had been arrested for previous drug offenses and was involved in a Berkeley robbery last year,

The officer also recognized passenger Kenneth Wilson, who was an accomplice in the Berkeley robbery, according to the police report.

Police found two crack pipes in the pickup truck, crack cocaine in an Altoids container, Alprazolam, and "push rods" used to push cocaine down into a crack pipe, the police report states.

Police also found a crack pipe on Wilson. An observer at the scene also told police he saw Diglio throw something under the truck. Officers found another crack pipe and an Alprazolam pill under the truck.

Diglio later told police the three had gone back to the Pine Valley Drive home, where Lehnert gave her an Alprazolam pill. The three then left the house and drove to Lakewood to buy two $100 pieces of crack cocaine, which they then smoked, according to the police report.

Lehnert later told police she sold a "brick" of heroin a day out of the Pine Valley Drive home.

Lehnert was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the police report states.

Police also obtained a civil restraining order preventing Lehnert from entering the home and referred that matter to Ocean County Adult Protective Services, the report states.

Diglio and Wilson were both charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
