Disturbance In Quick Check Parking Lot Leads To Berkeley Man's Arrest

A disturbance in the Quick Check parking lot led to a Bayville man's arrest earlier this month, police said.

On June 4 at 9:50 p.m., Ptl. John Fosbre and Ptl. Robert Ashton responded to the Quick Check located on Rt 9 and Central Parkway for a report of a disturbance in a vehicle in the parking lot.

Upon arrival Ptl. Fosbre encountered the vehicle in question, occupied by a male identified as Peter Brown Jr., 24, of Bayville. Further investigation revealed both had an outstanding warrant issued by the Ocean County for his arrest.

As a result he was arrested and transported to police HQ. where Brown was processed and later released after satisfying his bail requirements.
