County Sheriff Makes 4 February Berkeley Arrests

Four arrested in Berkeley by Ocean County Sheriff's Office in February

Four Berkeley residents were arrested by the Ocean County Sheriff's Office in February.

  • Michael A. Mele, 20, of Sunndale Court, was arrested and charged with failing to appear in court to answer burglary and eluding charges.
  • William E. Tanski, 58, of Cedar Drive, was arrested and charged with failing to comply with conditions of the Intensive Supervision Program.
  • Alison Dietrich, 42, of Anchorage Boulevard, was arrested and accused of failing to comply with Drug Court conditions.
  • One arrested was made for failing to pay child support.

Undersheriff Wayne Rupert said officers have made 230 arrests through Feb. 28 and extradited seven fugitives from out of state to face charges in Ocean County.
