Cops: Shots Fired At Berkeley Residence

Police said they were investigating a report that shots were fired from a Berkeley residence Sunday.

At 2:30 a.m., Berkeley Police were dispatched to 4th Street in the Manitou Park Section of Berkeley for a report of shots fired near a residence. Responding officers secured the scene and determined that several bullets were likely fired, police said.

No injuries were reported. The Berkeley Township Police Department Detective Bureau responded and processed the scene with the assistance of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Criminalistic Investigative Unit.
