Berkeley Police Investigating Burglary At Home On Clifton Avenue


Police are asking anyone with information about a burglary on Clifton Avenue on June 27 to come forward, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

The victim told Patrolmen Al Foca and Sgt. Philip Smith that someone forcibly entered the home and that items had been taken, the chief said.

Detective Joseph Santoro and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Criministics Investigative Unit responded to process the crime scene.  The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with any information is urged to call 732-341-1132, ext. 611 . Callers can remain anonymous.
