Berkeley Police Arrest Forked River Man Wanted On Two Warrants

Michael Lange also issued motor vehicle summonses

Berkeley Township police recently arrested a Forked River man with two outstanding warrants - one out of Beachwood and one out of Wall, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Patrolman Edward Hendrickson stopped Michael Lange, 32, Forked River on Dover Road near Pinewald-Keswick Road at 4:30 p.m. on April 5, the chief said.

Lange was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was also issued a summons for driving while using a handheld device and driving while suspended, DiMichele said.

Lange was able to post bail and was later released.
