By Patricia A. Miller

A Beachwood woman who struck a trailer being towed on Pinewald-Keswick Road on Nov. 12 has been charged with driving while intoxicated, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.

Officers Michael Riccardelli, Michael Tanis and Brian Bargas responded to the accident site on Pinewald-Keswick Road near the Garden State Parkway entrance, the chief said.

Police observed a car driven by Jaymee Tice had crossed over the center line of the roadway and then struck the trailer, DiMichele said.

Tice was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River for treatment of her injuries. She was later also charged with careless driving and reckless driving, the chief said.
