Beachwood Man Facing Numerous Cocaine Charges

David Egner charged with distributing cocaine

An early evening search of a Beachwood man's home resulted in the seizure of more than a half ounce of cocaine, digital scales, drug packaging materials, a stun gun and $700 in cash, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato said.

Detectives from the Prosecutor's Office Northern Enforcement Unit, officers from the Beachwood Police Department and Ocean County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit executed a search warrant on July 17 at the home of David Egner, 23, Ivy Way, Coronato said.

Egner was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine, he said.

Ocean County Superior Court Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. set Egner's bail at $50,000, with no ten percent option. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of bail, Coronato said.
